Ladies 4 A Cause is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. This website strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Measures taken
- Semantic HTML elements are used throughout the site
- Images include descriptive alt text
- Color contrast ratios are designed to meet WCAG AA standards for text and interactive elements
- Interactive elements are keyboard accessible with visible focus indicators
- The site is fully responsive and usable on mobile devices, tablets, and desktops
- Touch targets meet the minimum 44x44 pixel recommendation on mobile
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
- ARIA attributes are used where appropriate to enhance screen reader compatibility

Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining issues. Known limitations include:
- Third-party content, such as the Anedot donation platform, is outside our direct control
- The Admin Portal embeds a separately maintained application whose accessibility we are still reviewing
- Some photographs are hosted by an external image service and may load at reduced quality on slow connections
