A lifelong servant leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate, Tammy Nakamura has dedicated more than four decades to strengthening businesses, public service and philanthropy. Tammy has built a legacy of bringing people together to create lasting change in her community.

Tammy is the Co-Executive Director and Co-Founder of Ladies 4 A Cause, where she brings more than 40 years of leadership in business, marketing, public service, and community engagement. A successful entrepreneur and marketing executive, Tammy has owned and operated multiple businesses and has served since 1992 as Owner and Director of Marketing for Accent On You Cosmetic Surgery Center and Medi Spa in Arlington.

Tammy has dedicated her life to serving others through leadership in charitable, civic, educational, and community organizations. She has chaired countless fundraising events and served in leadership roles with organizations including the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, GRACE, the Colleyville Woman's Club, and numerous PTAs and booster clubs. She also served on the Colleyville City Council from 2016 to 2022 and as a Grapevine-Colleyville ISD School Board Trustee from 2022 to 2025, continuing her lifelong commitment to strengthening families, education, and the community.

Inspired by a passion for servant leadership, Tammy co-founded Ladies 4 A Cause to unite women who want to make a meaningful difference throughout Northeast Tarrant County. She and her husband, Yuki Nakamura, MD, have been married for 39 years and are the proud parents of two adult children, Natalia and Nico. Tammy believes that when compassionate people come together with a shared purpose, they can transform lives and build stronger communities.
